Meet Don: Founder and Owner
Don Waite brings more than forty years of experience to Lake Buena Vista Fire Protection, the company he founded in 1992. He began his career in fire protection in 1979, working in fire sprinkler service and supporting the fire protection needs of Walt Disney World. That early experience established the foundation for his long career in the industry and his focus on reliable, well-designed systems.
Before starting Lake Buena Vista Fire Protection, Don worked with established fire protection firms including Southstar Fire, Grunau Fire, and Advantage Fire. Through these roles, he developed broad technical knowledge and a reputation for consistent service and dependable results.
Don attended Florida State University and the University of Miami in the 1970s, building the educational foundation that supports his work in fire protection.
Outside of his professional work, Don enjoys collecting cars and watching football.
